espanolLa violencia en pareja entre los jovenes es un fenomeno que en los ultimos anos se ha convertido en un problema de Salud Publica debido a su elevada incidencia. Siendo escasa su investigacion en el contexto mexicano, se plantea una investigacion mixta (cualitativa y cuantitativa) con una muestra de 51 alumnos/as de la Facultad de Trabajo Social de la Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. Los objetivos de esta investigacion consisten en analizar la percepcion que poseen sobre las relaciones de pareja, identificar el calado de los mitos del amor romantico y descubrir si ejercen o sufren violencia en pareja. Los resultados revelan que los mitos romanticos tienen un calado medio, existe una prevalencia de la violencia reciproca elevada y que un grupo considerable de alumnos/as desconocen o tienen conceptos erroneos sobre la violencia de genero. Asimismo se observa que las variables relativas al genero, religion y situacion sentimental son determinantes. Es por ello que se considera necesario promover medidas preventivas y formativas hacia la juventud en general y especialmente en futuros trabajadores/as sociales como medida dirigida al no favorecimiento de posibles futuras situaciones de revictimizacion. EnglishPartner violence among young people is a phenomenon that in recent years has become a public health problem because of its high incidence. Being limited its investigation in the Mexican context, one (qualitative and quantitative) research mixed with a sample of 51 students of the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Nuevo Leon. The objectives of this research are to analyze the perception they have about the relationships, identify the draft of the myths of romantic love and discover if they exercise or suffer violence as a couple. The results reveal that the romantic myths have a mean draft, there is a high prevalence of reciprocal violence and a large group of students know or have misconceptions about gender violence. It also shows that the variables related to gender, religion and sentimental situation are crucial. That is why it is considered necessary to promote preventive and educational measures to youth in general and especially in future social workers as well as measure aimed at favoring no possible future situations revictimization.
