Neste artigo, buscamos mapear a producao academica na area de Relacoes Internacionais no Brasil observando a participacao das mulheres partindo das caracteristicas da producao academica em relacao ao genero e as divisoes tematicas do campo. Para tanto, analisamos os dois principais periodicos da area segundo a classificacao da Capes: Contexto Internacional e a Revista Brasileira de Politica Internacional (RBPI). O artigo esta dividido em tres partes. Na primeira, situamos a discussao sobre mulheres na ciencia em relacao ao genero como categoria critica de analise. Em seguida, promovemos o debate sobre a literatura que discute o mapeamento da producao academica, considerando a producao cientifica de mulheres em geral e na area de Relacoes Internacionais. Finalmente, apresentamos os resultados situando a producao academica feminina. Como conclusao, constatamos que a distância do numero de artigos publicados por mulheres e homens nao se alterou ao longo do tempo, mantendo a estrutura de desigualdade. ABSTRACT In this article, we seek to map the academic work in the field of International Relations in Brazil, according to women’s share focusing on the characteristics of the academic work in relation to gender and thematic divisions in the field. We analyzed all the articles published by two of the most prestigious journals in Brazil: Contexto Internacional e Revista Brasileira de Politica Internacional (RBPI). The article has three sections: the first presents the discussion about women in science and brings gender as a critical analytical category. In the following section, we carry out a debate about the literature which deals with the mapping of academic production considering the scientific production. Finally, we present the results placing the female academic production. In the end, our findings show that the gap between the number of articles published by men and women did not change over time maintaining the structure of inequality.
