DOI: 10.12957/rdc.2016.23556 Resumen El articulo examina el Presupuesto Participativo en Argentina, considerando en profundidad quince casos de estudio. Dichos casos dan cuenta de la diversidad de experiencias desplegadas en el pais, a nivel regional, poblacional, politico, temporal y de diseno institucional en distintas ciudades. El trabajo se organiza metodologicamente  a partir del analisis de cuatro dimensiones: politico- institucional . intraburocratica , participativa y financiero-distributiva . La primera dimension refiere a la influencia del Presupuesto Participativo sobre las relaciones politicas del territorio, su potencial en materia de profundizacion democratica y construccion de ciudadania y los diversos disenos institucionales implementados. La segunda dimension  busca dar cuenta del impacto del Presupuesto Participativo al interior de aparato municipal y en relacion a las formas de funcionamiento de dicho entramado organizacional. La tercera dimension profundiza en los tipos de participacion de la ciudadania y en los espacios de articulacion multiactoral generados por el Presupuesto Participativo. La ultima dimension analiza la importancia del instrumento en relacion al presupuesto municipal y las formas de distribucion en la asignacion de sus recursos publicos. Asi, el Presupuesto Participativo aparece, fundamentalmente, como un instrumento de legitimacion de las autoridades municipales, en un marco general de apertura de la gestion local a nuevas demandas ciudadanas. Con un alcance mayormente barrial, su implementacion resulta compleja en las estructuras burocraticas mas tradicionales, favoreciendo en algunos casos la desconcentracion municipal y/o evolucionando hacia un conjunto de nuevas politicas participativas. Abstract The article examines the Participatory Budget in Argentina, considering in depth fifteen case studies. Such cases account for the diversity of deployed in the country, in the regional, population, political, temporal and institutional design background in different cities. The paper is organized methodologically from the analysis of four dimensions: political-institutional. intrabureaucratic, participatory and financial-distributive.. The first dimension refers to the influence of the Participatory Budget on political relations of the territory, its potential for democratic deepeningand building citizenship and different institutional designs implemented. The second dimension seeks to account for the impact of the Participatory Budget within the municipal apparatus and in relation to the forms of operation of such organizational framework. The third dimension examines the types of citizen participation and joint multi-actor spaces generated by the Participatory Budget. The last dimension analyzes the importance of the instrument in relation to the municipal budget and forms of distribution in the allocation of public resources. Thus, the Participative Budget appears primarily as an instrument of legitimizing municipal authorities, in a general framework of local management opening up to new demands. With a mostly neighborhood scope, its implementation is complex in more traditional bureaucratic structures, favoring some cases the municipal deconcentration and / or evolving into a set of new participatory policies. EL PRESUPUESTO PARTICIPATIVO EN LA ARGENTINA. ANALISIS MULTIDIMENSIONAL EN QUINCE CIUDADES
