DOI:  10.12957/dep.2017.22581 Resumo A saude dos povos indigenas no Brasil e prestada atraves de um subsistema inserido no Sistema Unico de Saude (SUS) e no Ministerio da Saude. Entretanto, por conta do paradigma do reconhecimento e das diretrizes analiticas do multiculturalismo contra-hegemonico, conclui-se que este direito deve ser garantido de forma intercultural. Este artigo, portanto, analisa as dificuldades de interacao entre estes aspectos institucionais e interculturais. Palavras-chave: povos indigenas; direito a saude; reconhecimento. Abstract The health of indigenous peoples in Brazil is provided through a subsystem within the Unified Health System (SUS) and the Ministry of Health. However, due to the paradigm of recognition and the analytical guidelines of the counter-hegemonic multiculturalism, the right to health must be granted in an intercultural way. This article, therefore, examines the difficulties of interaction between institutional and intercultural aspects. Keywords: indigenous peoples; right to health; recognition.
