Le bassin versant de la Seybouse a connu une variabilite climatique notamment pluviometrique de 1946 a 2009 qui ete mise en evidence par des tests de  detection de rupture appliques aux series des pluies pluri annuelles. Vingt quatre (24) postes pluviometriques de l’agence nationale des ressources hydriques et de l’office national de la meteorologie d’Alger ont ete analyses. Les resultats obtenus indiquent le non stationnarite des series des pluies etudiees et mettent en relief l’hypothese de l’expansion de la partie Nord de la zone de convergence intertropicale traduite par l’instabilite des pluies etudiees. Les tests de Pettitt, de Von Neumann, de Buishand (1982-1984) et les test des rangs de kendall marquent des ruptures sur toutes les series des pluies, majoritairement sur le Nord- Est du bassin. Contrairement a la partie Sud qui est moyenne, le test de rang de kendall indique que 56% d’ensemble des stations ont une tendance a la hausse sous  l’hypothese nulle pour des seuils de 2, 5 et 10%. L’ecart entre la plus forte valeur moyenne maximale (7.28) et la moyenne minimale (0.71) des pluies mensuelles est enregistre pour le mois de Juillet avec 88.05%. Variability of rainfall series of Seybouse watershed of North-East of Algeria Seybouse Watershed is subject to climate changes especially rainfalls from 1946 to 2009 which was highlighted by breakage detection tests applied to the annual  multi-rain series. Twenty four rainfall stations of the National Agency of Water Resources and Meteorological administration in Algeria were analyzed.The purpose of the present paper is to study the rainfall variability. The results indicate the  non-stationary rainfall series studied and to face the hypothesis of the expansion of the northern part of the inter-tropical convergence zone resulting in instability of the studied rainfall. Pettitt, Von Neumann, Buishand, and Kendall tests observe the rupture on all series of rains, mainly on the North East basin. In contrast, in the southern part Kendall test indicates that 56% of all stations have a tendency to increase under the null hypothesis for threshold of 2,5 and 10%. The gap between the highest maximum average value (7,28) and the minimal average value (0,71) of monthly rainfall is recorded on July with 88,05%.
