Laser diodes have advantages of compact size, higher luminous efficacy and long-life. However disadvantage of laser diode is low output light power compared to other lasers. It is necessary to use multiple laser diodes for the applications of laser machining, laser marking. However there is no method to shape multiple laser lights. This paper proposes the design method for beam shaping of multiple laser diodes and describes the influence of shaped beam intensity on the number of laser diodes, irradiation area to kinoform ratio and sampling points of the focusing area.
