Recently, augmented reality (AR) has more opportunities to be adopted in smart phone applications, and robustness method is required in order to perform AR on smart phone. However, it also must reduce processing load. Traditional method called RI has been already proposed. But, it does not say that the robustness is guaranteed in every case. Therefore, this study proposes the improvement of RI method by genetic algorithm. Further proposed method was confirmed that it is more robustness than traditional method from the result of evaluation experiment.
