This empirical study of manufacturing companies from Peru investigates the relationship between coercive pressures and internal green supply chain management practices (internal environmental management and eco-design), as well as the relationship of these practices with the environmental performance. This paper has used a sample of 133 manufacturing companies, the data was analyzed through partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The statistical results show that coercive pressures influence the adoption of internal environmental management and eco-design and that environmental performance is positively related to the adoption of internal environmental management but not with eco-design. Finally, the conclusion and future research is discussed.
