The four-plated barnacle Tesseropora albaRen and Liu, 1979is recorded for the first time away from its type locality in the Xisha Islands, South China Sea. The new localities are northwestern Taiwan and Okinawa. The species is redescribed in detail, with a discussion of its likely geographical range in the Pacific.
