The necessity of taking into account the family context in the treatment of individual psychopathology is increasingly being confirmed in empirical studies [1,2]. According to the systemic approach to family therapy, the symptom of a disease should not be considered as an isolated phenomenon which relates to the patient only, but rather as part of the family system in which the patient functions [3,4].
