In this article different three-dimensional modeling technology (3D) have been analyzed. These technologies are important as they are extensively used in various fields: research, filmmaking, interactive entertainment, industry, etc. It has been shown that three-dimensional modeling is needed to create qualitatively new mivar intelligent systems, including pattern recognition. A comparison of three main technologies for creating three-dimensional objects (3D objects) was carried out: manual object creation; automatic image-based creation of an object and 3D laser scanning. These technologies allow one to create quickly and accurately the required three-dimensional model of an object.
