Patients with malignant tumors are four times more likely to experience systemic amyloidosis, especially AA amyloidosis, and a quarter of these malignant tumors are renal clear cell carcinomas. However, reports of malignancies with AL amyloidosis are extremely rare. We report on a 66-year-old female with AL systemic amyloidosis and renal chromophobe cell carcinoma.
