For this purpose, Pseudomonas aeruginosa IFO 3080, which is resistant to various kinds of antibiotics, was selected as the parent strain and a specifically supersensitive mutant to various ƒÀ-lactam anti biotics, PsCss, was isolated from the micro organism.
