Knowledge of water in the soil is fundamental to irrigation management. This study aimed to analyze the determination of water storage in a Quartizarênico Neossolo in commercial grape production area of Petrolina-PE using different equipment (Tensiometer, TDR and neutron probe). For monitoring soil water have been installed in the area, in a distributed way, tensiometers batteries, TDR probes and access tubes for neutron probes. The readings of equipment were held weekly, within a grape production cycle (from July to November 2007), ie pruning to harvest. The determination of water storage (in blade) in the soil was performed as Reichardt and Timm (2004). The results showed that the tensiometer overestimated the storage values in relation to the TDR probe and neutrons throughout the study, most significant at the beginning of the cycle; and TDR and neutron probe estimated similar storage values for the profile analyzed in the course of all the research.
