This study aimed to evaluate the response of growth characteristics will foliar application of increasing doses of molybdenum and calcium in three varieties of beans, grown with drip irrigation. The experiment was conducted under field conditions in the period from 10 October 2014 to 03 January 2015, in the experimental area of the Academic Unit of Garanhuns (UAG) UFRPE. The design was a complete randomized block, with treatments arranged in a factorial in range (4 x 3) and two replications composed by three bean varieties (V1 Rosa, V2 Carioca, V3 Perola), and sub-plots were applied three doses of molybdenum, 25 days after emergence (DAS), and the three calcium doses applied during flowering. The molybdenum doses were: 0 (control treatment), 90, 160 and 180 ml ha at 25 DAS, the calcium doses were 0 (control treatment), 2, 3 and 4 L ha at 40 DAS. At 10 DAS began to fertilizer N and K2O, while being applied in installments way through irrigation water (fertigation) as quantities according to the crop cycle, equivalent to 80 kg ha K2O and 60 kg ha -1 N. At harvest (85 DAS), was determined floor area of each parcel and the variables: the fresh and dry weight of plant parts, leaf area (AF), The data were subjected to analysis of variance adopting F test, followed by the Tukey test, both the 5% probability. It was observed that the application of 160 ml h and 2 L ha molybdenum and calcium positive influence on the growth of carioca and perola varieties.
