Interface roughness effects on the giant magnetoresistance in magnetic multilayers are analysed theoretically for structures with non-conformal correlated interfaces. The roughness of each interface is described in terms of the K-correlation model and is characterized by the roughness exponent H(0 less than or equal to H < 1), correlation length xi, and rms roughness amplitude Delta. Coherent scattering by different interfaces is also taken into account.
