Proton induced spallation reactions on 238 U, 208 Pb, 181 T a and 197 Au targets at high energies were investigated using the m icroscopic Contrained Molecular Dyna m ics (CoMD) m odel and the pheno m enological m odels INC and SMM. We have calculated the total fission cross sections, the ratio fission cross section to residue cross section, the m ass yield curves and the excitation energy after the intranuclear cascade using the CoMD m odel and the INC/SMM pheno m enological  m odels. We m ade a co m parison between the m odels and the experi m ental data fro m the liter- ature. Our calculations showed satisfactory agree m ent with available experi m ental data and suggest further i m prove m ents in the m odels. Our study with the CoMD code represents the first co m plete dyna m ical description of the spallation process with a m icroscopic code based on an effective nucleon-nucleon interaction.
