Audiovisual works copyright system is one of the important copyright law systems. National copyright legislation provides different audiovisual works copyright system according to legislative tradition. This article, based on the TV series “Mi Yue Biography” authorship dispute as an example, discusses the national audiovisual works copyright system and the international legislation. It tries to put forward legislative proposals on copyright law of People’s Republic of China and promotes the development of China’s film and television industry.
