We calculate the thermal and thermoelectric transport coefficients for atwo-dimensional spin-density-wave metal in the presence of weak disorder andunder an external magnetic field using the Mori-Zwanzig memory matrixformalism. As a consequence, we obtain that although the Seebeck coefficient$S$ displays a relatively conventional linear dependence on the temperature ofthe system, the Nernst coefficient $\nu$ exhibits a clear signature ofbad-metallicity within the so-called strange metal regime described by themodel. This result agrees qualitatively with experimental transport dataobtained for many cuprate superconductors around optimal doping.
