F irs t, fo r tak ing advan­ tage o f para lle lism o f hardw are, sta tic and dynamic so rting ne tw o rk are bo th im plemented to meet d iffe re n t encoding de­ mands. T h e n ,a hardware b ina ry tree bu ild ing u n it and a reso lv ing u n it d riven by data f lo w are im plemented to get the fi_ nal H u ffm a n codes. F in a lly , the H u ffm a n codes are ou tpu tted based on data stored in F IFO . T he design resu lts illu s tra te th a t, th is quasi-dynam ic based on Nexys4 p la tfo rm shows advantages o f h igh w o rk in g frequency (ove r 1 0 0 M H z) ,h ig h th ro u g h p u t, lo w latency and can s im p lify the design o f decoder.
