T he segmentation o f po in t cloud data is no t a sim ple data processing task, and the segmentation effic iency and accuracy determ ine the data processing resu lts o f the w ork . T here fo re , the research o f po in t cloud data segmentation has im p orta n t significance. T h is paper presented a cu tting a lg o rith m fo r 3D po in t cloud based on adaptive angle, in w h ich the P C A a lg o rith m is used to fin d the op tim a l d im ension p ro jection d irection to reduce the dim ension o f the o rig ina l po in t cloud da ta,and the concept o f p ro jection c luster is used to ob ta in cu tting o f the o rig ina l ta rge t po in t cloud.
