BackgroundDoppler velocity assessment is the most frequently used method in clinical practice to identify fetal well-being, as it is considered as a non-invasive estimation of the fetus and feto-placental circulation. The aim of the current study is to establish longitudinal reference ranges for MCA and UA Doppler velocities, systolic-to-diastolic (S/D) ratio, resistive index (RI) and PI, and cerebroplacental ratio. The current study was a multicentric longitudinal study of 428 singleton pregnancies and 1284 observations. Doppler ultrasound, middle cerebral artery (MCA) and umbilical artery (UA) peaked velocities, and pulsatility index (PI) were evaluated three times throughout a single session over gestational age range of 13–40 weeks.
