Method The present report primarily studied the effects of geniposide on cognitive dysfunction in a double-transgenic AD mouse model (APP/PS1) on early and late stages. Male APP/PS1 mice aged 6 month and 12 month were given water, geniposide (25mg.kg) once a day by oral gavage, and age-matched C57BL/6 mice were treated with water and geniposide (25mg.kg). Aricept (0.75mg.kg) was used in the positive control group. Morris water maze performance was assessed after 3 months of treatment.
