Adrenocortical carcinoma is a rare, aggressive malignancy that features a correspondingly poor prognosis. The disease accounts for 0.2% of all malignancies and despite multimodal therapies, its prognosis remains poor, with a mean survival of &lt;30 months. This paper reports on a patient submitted to surgical resection and adjuvant chemotherapy for adrenocortical carcinoma with an ongoing follow-up of 8 months after surgery and no signs of recurrence.
