This study examines the phase stability of perovskite SrTiO 3  in Na 2 SO 4  + 50 wt.% V 2 O 5  and Na 2 SO 4  + 10 wt.% NaCl environments at 900°C. Hot corrosion results show the formation of Sr 2 VO 4 , SrV 2 O 6 , and SrTiV 5 O 11  phases in Na 2 SO 4  + 50 wt.% V 2 O 5  environment and Sr 3 Ti 2 O 7 , Na 4 TiO 4 , and TiO 2  phases in Na 2 SO 4  + 10 wt.% NaCl environment. Morphological observations revealed the austerity of hot corrosion attack on SrTiO 3 . The Sr 2+  ions leached out from SrTiO 3  and reacted with corrosive environments. These observations clearly indicate the destabilization of SrTiO 3  in both environments.
