Kirk and Xu studied the existence of fixed points of asymptotic pointwise nonexpansive mappings in the Banach space. In this paper, we investigate these kinds of mappings in modular spaces. Moreover, we prove the existence of fixed points of asymptotic pointwise nonexpansive mappings in modular spaces.
