C 2 F 4 , molecules have been for the first time directly proved to be generated in the reaction ofvibrationally-excited molecules CF 2 HCl. The contribution of this reaction to CF 2 HCl multiphotondissociation (MPD) products formation was shown to become predominant at the initial CF 2 HCl pressuresabout ten Torr.
