We present a way for fast implementation of a two-qubit controlled phase gatewith superconducting flux qubits coupled to a cavity. A distinct feature ofthis proposal is that since only qubit-cavity resonant interaction andqubit-pulse resonant interaction are used, the gate can be performed muchfaster when compared with the previous proposals. This proposal does notrequire adjustment of the qubit level spacings during the gate operation. Inaddition, neither uniformity in the qubit parameters nor exact placement ofqubits in the cavity is needed by this proposal.
