Microscopic optical potentials for low energy proton reactions have beenobtained by folding density dependent M3Y interaction derived from nuclearmatter calculation with densities from mean field approach to studyastrophysically important proton rich nuclei in mass 100-120 region. We compareS factors for low-energy $(p,\gamma)$ reactions with available experimentaldata and further calculate astrophysical reaction rates for $(p,\gamma)$ and$(p,n)$ reactions. Again we choose some nonlinear R3Y interactions from RMFcalculation and folded them with corresponding RMF densities to reproduceexperimental S factor values in this mass region. Finally the effect ofnonlinearity on our result is discussed.
