We explore the possibility of the acoustic analogue of a super-radiance likephenomenon, i.e., the amplification of a sound wave by reflection from theergo-region of a rotating acoustic black hole in the fluid draining bathtubmodel in the presence of the pressure be amplified or reduced in agreement withthe value of the parameter $\left(\gamma=1+ \frac{kn\rho_0^{n-1}}{c^2}\right)$. We remark that the interval of frequencies depend upon theneo-newtonian parameter $\gamma$\, ($\bar{\Omega}_H = \frac{2}{1+\gamma}\;\Omega_{H}$)\textbf{ and becomes narrow in this work}. As aconsequence, the tuning of the neo-newtonian parameter $\left(\gamma=1+\frac{kn\rho_0^{n-1} }{c^2}\right)$ changes the rate of loss of the acousticblack hole mass.
