Previously matrix model actions for ``fuzzy'' fields have been proposed usingnon-commutative geometry. They retained ``topological'' properties extremelywell, being capable of describing instantons, $\theta$--states, the chiralanomaly, and even chiral fermions with no ``doubling''.
