In this paper we present the updated physics sensitivity of DUNE in presenceof a light sterile neutrino with both far and near detectors. In the previousstudies, the sensitivities were obtained using the configuration of DUNE asdescribed in the conceptual design report (CDR). In this article, we considerthe configuration of DUNE as given in the technical design report (TDR) andstudy the capability of this experiment to constrain the sterile mixingparameters as well as its capability to measure the standard oscillationparameters in 3+1 scenario. Our results show that in 3+1 scenario, thesensitivity of DUNE to measure the mass hierarchy, octant and CP violationdeteriorates if we only consider the far detector. However, a combined analysisof far and near detector improves the sensitivity.
