Spectrum of the low-lying hidden- and double-charm tetraquark states areinvestigated in a nonrelativistic quark potential model, where theInstanton-induced interaction is taken as the residual spin-dependent hyperfineinteraction between quarks. The model parameters are fixed by fitting thespectrum of the ground hadron states. Our numerical results show that masses ofseveral presently studied tetraquark states are close to those of theexperimentally observed candidates of exotic meson, which indicates that thecorresponding compact tetraquark components may take considerable probabilitiesin those observed exotic states.
