Azimuthal asymmetries play an important role in scattering processes withpolarized particles. This paper introduces a new procedure using eventweighting to extract these asymmetries. It is shown that the resultingestimator has several advantages in terms of statistical accuracy, bias,assumptions on acceptance and luminosities compared to other estimatorsdiscussed in the literature.
