We present a broad class of spherical thin shells of matter in F(R) gravity.We show that the corresponding junction conditions determine the equation ofstate between the energy density and the pressure/tension at the surface. Weanalyze the stability of the static configurations under perturbationspreserving the symmetry. We apply the formalism to the construction of chargedbubbles and we find that there exist stable static configurations for asuitable set of the parameters of the model.
