He lhas been under my notice since I899, wlen I perforimed vasectomy for himi for enlargement of tlle prostate. At this time the celargemiient lhad made econsiderable advance, he was entirely dependelnt on the catlheter, and had been so for some time, and this greatly interfered witlh Iis work as a -compositor and seriously injured hiis liealtlh by preventing him obtaining sufficient continuous sleep and rest. The case proved too far advanced for vasectomy, and the relief he obtained froom this operation was insufficient. On February 5th, x9o2, after examining Iiis prostate and bladder with the cystoscope, I performed suprapubic cystotoimly for him and enucleated with my finger the two large lateral miiasses witlh the prostatic uretlhra between tllem which I am now showiug you.
