A renormalization group treatment of the Kondo model with logarithmic VanHove singularity in the electron density of states is performed withinnext-leading order scaling, different magnetic phases being considered. Theeffective coupling constant remains small, renormalized magnetic moment andspin-fluctuation frequency decreasing by several orders of magnitude. Thus widenon-Fermi-liquid behavior regions are found from the scaling trajectories in abroad interval of the bare coupling parameter. Applications to itinerantmagnetism theory are discussed.
