The motion of an electron in an image field and a blocking electric field isconsidered in semiclassical approximation. An exact analytical expression isfound for the density of the energy spectrum of states. The dependence ofspectral density on energy is obtained in a wide range of electric fieldstrengths. The energy ranges with a qualitatively different structure of thespectrum are determined.
