The correlation effects in nuclei owing to which the nuclear wave functionsare different from the Slater determinants are studied on the basis of theoriginal theory. The calculated numbers of nucleons out of the nuclearFermi-surface are in reasonable agreement with the finding from thehigh-momentum components of the nucleon momentum distributions in nuclei.
