Matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization–time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) (Bruker Biotyper) was able to accurately identify 98.6% (142/144) ofAcinetobacter baumannii isolates, 72.4% (63/87) ofA. nosocomialis isolates, and 97.6% (41/42) ofA. pittii isolates. AllAcinetobacter junii ,A. ursingii ,A. johnsonii , andA. radioresistens isolates (n = 28) could also be identified correctly by Bruker Biotyper.
