The solid waste of commercially available tea leaves of local produce were found to be useful for natural rubber. Results indicated that the maximum torque increased with increasing the tea waste loadings whereas the scorch and curing time showed the decreasing trend. Tea waste increased the tensile modulus of which correlated to the maximum torque observed. The extend of mechanical properties depends on the loadings of tea waste. Considering the amounts of tea waste. A 10 phr of tea waste was found to be a filler of choice for natural rubber. It provided a balance set of properties regardless whether the mechanical properties and morphological characteristics of the natural rubber
