The set of such new vertices is denoted by <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$I(G)$ </tex-math></inline-formula>. The generalized subdivision-vertex corona of <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$G$ </tex-math></inline-formula> and <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> for <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$i=1,2,\ldots,n$ </tex-math></inline-formula>, denoted by <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$\Im (G)\odot \wedge _{i=1}^{n}H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula>, is the graph obtained from <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$S(G)$ </tex-math></inline-formula> and <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> by joining the ith vertex of <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$V(G)$ </tex-math></inline-formula> to every vertex in <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula>. The generalized subdivision-edge corona of <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$G$ </tex-math></inline-formula> and <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> for <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$i=1,2,\ldots,m$ </tex-math></inline-formula>, denoted by <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$\Im (G)\ominus \wedge _{i=1}^{m}H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula>, is the graph obtained from <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$S(G)$ </tex-math></inline-formula> and <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> by joining the ith vertex of <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$I(G)$ </tex-math></inline-formula> to every vertex in <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula>. In this paper, we derive closed-form formulas for resistance distance and Kirchhoff index of <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$\Im (G)\odot \wedge _{i=1}^{n}H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> and <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$\Im (G)\ominus \wedge _{i=1}^{m}H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> whenever <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$G$ </tex-math></inline-formula> and <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$H_{i}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> are an arbitrary graph. These results generalize the existing results.
