In order to disclose possible links and implications pertaining to aircraft performance, flight safety, and human factors in the aviation system, an optimal controller, a robust controller, and an adaptive decision maker were devised and organized within the pattern-oriented framework of human strategy modeling, to provide adaptive decision and robust control with dynamic input tactics and parallel precedence for better phase-and-amplitude responses, as invoked and measured by the human-like characteristics of hoping for the best, being prepared for the worst, and ensuring for the average. Our human strategy model was applied for a flight mission consisting of the final approach and the landing flare of a large commercial aircraft on our fast-time computation platform. The experiment results demonstrated that the synthesized intelligent behavior for the mission tasks met the expectations of these human-like characteristics, which suggested that the human strategy model could play a better role in advancing the computational analysis of human-machine interaction.
