The structure of the title compound, {[Cu(C(5)H(10)NO(2)S)(C(12)H(9)N(3))]ClO(4)}(n), has ortho-rhom-bic symmetry. The chain structure is constructed from square-pyramidally coordinated Cu(II) atoms linked through l-methio-nate ligands.
