In the title compound, [Gd(C 15 H 11 O 2 ) 3 (C 17 H 18 N 2 )], the Gd III  atom is coordinated by six O atoms from three β-diketonate ligands and two N atoms from a chiral ligand L  S  ,  S  -(+)-7,7-dimethyl-3-(2-pyrid­yl)-5,6,7,8-tetra­hydro-6,8-methano­iso­quinoline, in a coordination geometry best described as distorted square-anti­prismatic.
