We compute the temperature, voltage, and magnetic field dependences of theresistance oscillations of a model interferometer designed to measure thefractional statistics of the quasiparticles in the fractional quantum Hall(FQH) effect. The geometry is the same as that used in recent experimentsreported in Refs. \cite{camino-prl,camino-T,zhou}. With appropriate assumptionsconcerning the relative areas of the inner and outer rings of theinterferometer, we find theoretical results, including the existence ofperiodic Aharonov-Bohm oscillations with periods {\it larger} than thefundamental quantum of flux, which are in remarkably good agreement withexperiment. It is then possible to make additional experimental predictionswith no adjustable parameters which, if verified, would confirm the proposedinterpretation of the experiment as a measurement of fractional statistics.Comment: 4.1 pages, 3 figures, two references added, to appear in Phys.
