New, high-precision measurements of the 3He(e,e'p) reaction using the A1collaboration spectrometers at the Mainz microtron MAMI are presented. Thesewere performed in parallel kinematics at energy transfers below thequasi-elastic peak, and at a central momentum transfer of 685 MeV/c. Crosssections and distorted momentum distributions were extracted and compared totheoretical predictions and existing data. The longitudinal and transversebehavior of the cross section was also studied. Sizable enhancements of thecross sections for missing momenta larger than 100 MeV/c as compared to PlaneWave Impulse Approximation were observed in both the two- and three-bodybreakup channels.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures, to be submitted to Phys.
