We study the matching of LRS spatially homogeneous collapsing dustspace-times with non-stationary vacuum exteriors in cylindrical symmetry. Givenan interior with diagonal metric we prove existence and uniqueness results forthe exterior. The matched solutions contain trapped surfaces, singularities andCauchy horizons.
