We compute radiative corrections in five and six dimensional field theories,using winding modes in mixed momentum-coordinate space. This method provides asimple way of finding UV divergencies, finite corrections and localized termswhen the space is compactified on orbifolds. As an application we compute thefinite piece of scalar masses, the logarithmic contributions to the couplingsand the effect of localized parallel and perpendicular kinetic terms.
