A supersymmetric version of the $SU(3)_L \otimes U(1)_X$ gauge model ispresented. The model is embedded in a $SU(6)_L \otimes U(1)_X$ gauge group andit has been built up completely quiral anomaly free and without any exoticcharges in the fermionic content. The Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model canbe seen as an effective theory of this larger symmetry.
